President and Licensed Funeral Director
Billy was born and raised in
Jeffersonville, IN, and is a 1996 Graduate of Jeffersonville High School. After
high school he attended Franklin College in Franklin, IN, and graduated in
2000. Following college, he moved home to work in the family business and serve
his hometown as a funeral director. He attended Mid-America College of Funeral
Service and graduated in 2001. As well as being a Funeral Director, he also
serves as Clark County Coroner.
Billy loves to spend his time
outdoors and with his family. He has three children, June, Olive and
William.
Vice-President and Licensed Funeral Director
Aaron was born and raised in
Jeffersonville, IN, and is a 1999 Graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He
then went on to attend Murray State University on a football scholarship and
graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After
completing his undergraduate degree, Aaron moved back to Jeffersonville and
decided to follow in his family's footsteps and serve the community as a
funeral director. He attended Mid-America College of Funeral Service and
graduated in 2005 with a degree in Funeral Service Science. He is a
licensed Funeral Director in both Indiana and Kentucky, a Floyd County Deputy
Coroner and serves on the Indiana Funeral Directors Association Board.
Aaron loves to travel and spend
his free time with his family. He is married to Alanna Scott and they have two
children, Cora and Andrew, and one faithful companion, Stanley.
Licensed Funeral Director
Scott Moyes, a first-generation funeral director, discovered
his passion for the funeral profession at the age of 16 in Henderson, Kentucky.
With over two decades of dedicated service, Scott regards his career as more
than a job—it's a calling to support and minister to those experiencing loss.
Since December 2013, Scott has been happily married to Blair. Together, they
cherish their life with their four daughters.
The family is deeply involved in their community through the Ninth and O
Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. There, Scott contributes significantly,
including roles as a former Chairman of the Deacons, Trustee, and Director of
Singles. His commitment to faith and family is paramount, particularly in
nurturing his children within a spiritually guided environment.
Scott joined Scott Family Services as the General Manager in 2023, embracing
the opportunity to lead and innovate in the field he loves.
A proud alumnus of Murray State University (Go Racers!), Scott also holds a
degree from Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is a Sigma Phi Epsilon
Fraternity alum. Outside of his professional life, Scott is a devoted family
man, often found supporting his children at ballet performances and sporting
events. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and immersing himself in the great
outdoors with his family.

Funeral Director
Bryan Purvis is a licensed Funeral
Director and Embalmer. He has also been a United Methodist Lay speaker for
nearly 20 years and graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service with
honors in 2010. He lives with his wife and two dogs in Green County and enjoys
car shows and coyote hunting in his spare time.

With a compassionate heart and a wealth of experience, Debra
is a cornerstone of Legacy Funeral Center, where she expertly guides families
through the sensitive process of pre-planning funeral arrangements. Debra's
journey in the funeral industry began in 1989, marked by a deep-seated
commitment to providing solace and support to those facing one of life's most
challenging moments.
Debra's passion for her work is paralleled only by her love for life and
family. Residing in Jeffersonville with her husband Keith and their beloved
2-year-old Tabby cat, Gertie, she finds joy and tranquility in her everyday
life. An avid lover of music, Debra's eclectic taste provides her with a
harmonious backdrop for her varied hobbies. Reading is a refuge for her,
offering moments of peace and reflection.
A keen gardener, Debra delights in nurturing growth, both in her garden and in
the lives of the families she assists. Her culinary adventures reflect her
openness to new experiences and her appreciation for life's diverse flavors.
Coming out of retirement to rejoin the funeral industry, Debra's dedication to
her role at Legacy Funeral Center is more than a profession; it's a calling.
She firmly believes in alleviating the burden of funeral arrangements from
