William Bernard Brady, Jr., of Louisville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 68. Born in Louisville to the late William Sr. and Norma Jean Brady, Bill was a man who embraced life with an enthusiasm matched only by his deep love for his family.
A devoted father, grandfather, and brother, Bill will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to those he cherished. His Catholic faith, though not practiced regularly, was a cornerstone of his upbringing and influenced his values and character.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill found comfort and joy in the embrace of nature. Whether navigating the tranquil woods or cheering at NASCAR races, he lived life with a passionate spirit and a heart full of enthusiasm. His love for the outdoors and racing was a testament to his vibrant personality and zest for life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Anthony Lee Brady.
Survivors include his daughter, Meagan Board; grandchildren, Trinity and Kinsley; sisters, Belinda Wright (Donnie), MaryLynn Gregory, and Vicky Brady; and numerous extended family members.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Boulevard - Louisville. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 1 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. The family has honored William’s wish to be cremated.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Bill's honor to Legacy Funeral Center - Nunnelley Chapel to cover the costs of funeral expenses.
