Wanda Jean Gatton Obituary

Wanda Jean Gatton, 78, of Louisville, KY passed away on January 14, 2020.

She was a waitress at King Fish for over 30 years and a Walmart associate for 20 years.  Jean loved her grandchildren and telling stories about them. She enjoyed baking and her flower gardens. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Flener; sister, Frances Dean Hagen and brothers, Gregory Flener and Raymond Goodman.

Jean is survived by her children, Judy Brown, Darrell Lindsey, David Lindsey and Angel (David) Gatton Geary; grandchildren, Bethany McKinnon, Jonathon (Carla) Brown, Joshua Brown, Nicole Lindsey, Kelsey Geary, Amber Geary, Emma Geary; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Noah and Sonny McKinnon, Madison Miller, Jonathon Brown, Jr and Oliva Rose Brown; sisters, Betty (Jimmy) Wallace and Precella (Larry) Wallace and brother, Ed (Darlene) Flener.

Visitation will be Thursday, January, 16, 2020, from 10am-12pm at Neurath Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY with a celebration of Jean’s life beginning at 12pm.

Burial will follow at South Jefferson Cemetery, Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
