Verna L. Moerer

Verna L. Moerer, 79, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at Riverbend Retirement Community. She was born on January 3, 1944, in Yates Center, Kansas, to Wayne and Dorothy Moerer.

A talented seamstress and devoted homemaker, Verna poured her love into her creations and her home. She was a faithful member of Christ Gospel Church, where she found joy in serving others with her whole heart. Verna's giving spirit touched many lives, and she will be  remembered for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents , Verna was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Moerer. She is survived by her brothers, Howard and Clayton Moerer; nieces, Debra Moerer Valenti, Rebecca Moerer; nephews, Jason and Charles Moerer; along with several other nieces and nephews.
