Timothy Scott Wells, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 3, 2026.

Born on October 4, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky, Scott was a man whose humor, kindness, and unmistakable laugh left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had a gift for making people laugh and could brighten even the darkest days with his quick wit and playful spirit. His loud, contagious laugh was one of the many things family and friends will forever remember.

Scott had a passion for creativity and self-expression. He loved making videos, playing music—especially the keyboard—and spending time drawing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and embracing the sense of freedom they provided. Above all, Timothy was known for his generous heart. He would do anything he could to help someone in need, whether he had the means to do so or not. His willingness to lend a hand and his caring nature touched countless lives.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Mary M. Popp; his beloved children, Kaydence and Christopher Wells; the mother of his children, Cathy Dunn; his sister, Tracy Wells; his niece, Destiny Hayes; and his great-nephew, Tate Dickinson.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Randall Wayne Popp; his brother, Christopher Brad Wells; and his grandparents, Emma and Russell Wells.

Family and friends are invited to honor Timothy's life during a visitation on Friday, June 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, Kentucky 40215. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will take place immediately following the service at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40216.

Though Scott's time with us was far too short, the laughter he shared, the music he played, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
