Thomas Keith Pace, 69, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. He brought laughter and joy to everyone, and is leaving behind a legacy of love and humor that will forever warm our hearts. Thomas had an unparalleled sense of humor that could light up any room. His comical nature and quick wit were a constant source of joy for family and friends alike. He had an infectious laugh that could make even the toughest days seem brighter. Thomas' love for music was evident in his passion for singing and dancing. He was the life of the party, especially when karaoke was involved. He could always be found on the dance floor, showing off his moves.
One of Thomas' greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandkids. He cherished every moment, particularly their special trips to Frisch's Big Boy, blasting his favorite anthem, "Thunderstruck", while he spoiled them with milkshakes and shared stories. Thomas was a master craftsman, always creating and building with his hands. His creativity knew no bounds, and he took great pride in his handcrafted creations, leaving behind tangible reminders of his love and talent. In addition to his humor and creativity, Thomas possessed a generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a true friend, a loving father and grandfather. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Pace; and his daughter, Shirley Dattilo.
Left to cherish his memory, Thomas leaves behind his loving wife, and his "Pearl of Great Price", Kathryn Pace; 3 children, Wendy Devore (Dean), Crissy Bray, and Kathryn Bodine; 16 grandchildren, Alyssa, Nick, Andrew, Noah, Silas, Jonah, Eliza, Ruby, Sarah, Jay, Kyle, Brittany, Hannah, Jay, Anthony, and Destiny; 2 siblings, James Pace, and Jenny Pace; 6 brothers-in-law, Danny Floden, Reed, Michael, Frankie, Danny and Willie; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Thomas Keith Pace will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Center - Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
