Thomas D. Masden "Tommy", 57, passed away, Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Norton Hospital .
He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 26, 1965 to the late William Masden and Jeanette Allen Masden. He was a former employee for Portland Recycling. Tommy was a avid UK fan, Portland Native and proud to be from the Portland Neighborhood. Tommy also served our country in the National Guard. He enjoyed running around the neighborhood in his truck collecting scrap metal, going to McDonald's, eating breakfast at Dairy Queen, woodworking, playing the lottery and sitting on the front porch listening to rock and roll music. His normal hang out was Cavaliers Bar with his best friends Clyde and Bobby. Where they enjoyed drinking beer and playing pool together. Tommy will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Patricia (Patsy) Borders and Katherine Carter; and brother in law, Bob Borders.
Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Crystal Clark; step-son, Anthony Toohey; three grandchildren, Zachariah "Z", Cameron and Carmen; companion, Barbara Toohey; two brothers, Larry Masden and David Masden (Carol); and one sister, Patricia (Patty) Masden (Scott Casey); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 3-6 p.m. with funeral services starting at 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street.
