Theodore Anthony "Tony" Morrison

Theodore Anthony “Tony” Morrison, age 78, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born in Utica, Indiana, in 1946 to the late William Theodore and Della Marie.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his siblings Glen, Myrna, Don, Monk, and William.

Tony is survived by his children, Toni Morrison, Brian (Jamie) Morrison, and Elizabeth (Tom) Eldridge; his grandchildren, Isabella, Brice (Cameron), Samantha, Shelby (Corey), Kiersten, Austin and Peyton; his step-grandchildren, Eleanor and Virginia Fox; his siblings, Barb, Phyllis, Kenny, Daisy, and Ann; and his companion, Helen Morrison.

Tony attended Indiana University and was a devoted fan throughout his entire life. He also attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Tony later enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country proudly.

He was a proud and active member of the Freemasons Utica Lodge 337, receiving a distinguished 50-year award in 2021. He was skilled in woodworking, welding, and basket weaving. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing cards, singing along to oldies music, watching classic movies and sports.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, in Jeffersonville on Thursday, August 8, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a masonic service at 7:00 PM. His funeral service will take place on Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Utica.
