Terry Michael Tidwell

Terry Michael Tidwell, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on March 3, 2026. Born on December 24, 1981, in Louisville, Terry was often lovingly described as his mother’s greatest Christmas gift.

Terry was proud to be a Portland boy and loved walking the streets of the neighborhood he called home. He had a deep love for baseball and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Terry enjoyed listening to music of all genres and, above all else, treasured the time he spent surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his parents, Lori and Kenneth Foster; his father, David Tidwell (Peppy); and his stepmother, Sue Tidwell. Terry also leaves behind his partner whom he loved, Natasha Tidwell; his children, Cobin Thomas Tidwell and Noah Just; and his siblings, Kenneth Foster, Jr., Jennifer Nicole Foster, Heather Renee Foster (Timothy Miller), David Tidwell, Jr., Tonya Tidwell, and Josh Kidwell. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever cherish his memory.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Esther Grable; Donna and George Robbins; Wanda and Merritt Garrett; and Amanda Messer, as well as his beloved dogs, Blondie, Mack and Peaches.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow.

Terry will be remembered for his love of family, his easygoing spirit, and the joy he found in the simple things in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
