Terry Lee Harkins, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Berchie and Mort Harkins.
Terry was a hardworking man through and through, known not only for his strong work ethic but also for his knack for “selling” his jobs to others with charm and humor. Quick-witted and fun-loving, he was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with those he loved most. Terry had a passion for boating, fishing, and hot rods, and he especially loved sharing stories—often with a grin—earning him a reputation as someone who never met a stranger. His big heart and infectious personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Chandler; his two sons, Rick Harkins (Missy) and Chris Harkins; his cherished granddaughter, Kenze Harkins; and his siblings, Thomas Harkins, Ronnie Harkins, Patty Harkins, and Theresa Kinney.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Harkins and Jimmy Harkins.
