Teresa Fay Schoch, age 69, passed away on May 28, 2025. She was born on April 14, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Joyce Fouts Schoch and the late Michael Schoch.

Teresa was a vibrant spirit who never met a stranger. Her love for animals was only matched by her love for people. Known for her warm heart, generous nature, and infectious personality, Teresa was the kind of person who would literally give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it. She loved to socialize, laugh, and celebrate life, often surrounded by friends and family whose lives she brightened.

She is survived by her loving mother, Joyce Schoch; sisters, Anna Lee Schoch-Phillips (Carl) and Michele Sharp (Walter); nieces, Heather, Megan (Rick), Shannon (Zach), Angela (Rob), Cassady, and Chelsea; nephew, Cameron (Karlee); and great-nieces Evelyn & Elaina, Kaitlin, Hannah, Maddix, Piper, Makenzie, Emma, Alexis, and Addison.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, and again from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday, June 6, at the Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY 40203. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM on Friday, with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Teresa’s memory will live on through the love she gave, the laughter she inspired, and the lives she touched.
