Tamela Christine Morgan, age 60, of Louisville, KY, passed away on November 4, 2024. Born on July 11,
1964, in Jefferson County, KY, Tamela was a beloved server at Waffle House, where she brought joy to
everyone she met. Her love for serving others extended beyond her work, as she was a compassionate
person with a deep affection for animals, especially her four cherished dogs: Tera, Noah, Bailey, and
Josey.
A people person with a heart of gold, Tamela was known for her warm personality and her love of
flowers. A dedicated fan of the University of Kentucky, she could always be found cheering on her
favorite team. Tamela also had a passion for Corvettes and proudly owned a 50th Anniversary Edition
model, which she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Maddox and Beverly Nan Dalton Fields. Tamela is
survived by her siblings, Jonathan King, Terri Bates, Linda Kazy, Peggy Stamper, and Elicia Tolley, as well
as a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
