Stanley Cain, 56, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on February 2, 2025. He was born in
Portland, Kentucky to the late Jack Cain and Elois Irene Singleton Cain.
Stanley worked for many years delivering drywall, most recently for FBM. He was a passionate
NFL fan who loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Louisville Cardinals. A huge
Beatles fan, he enjoyed relaxing with a beer alongside his Portland buddies.
The family requests that everyone wear jeans and a sport shirt in his honor.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Cain; his sister,
Joyce Ann Pevlor; and his nephew, Dennis Lee.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mert Cain; his sister, Elois Irene Feger (Joseph); his brother,
Mike Cain; his best friend, Poochie; and his beloved pet chihuahua, Ringo. He also leaves behind
his two favorite girls, Tammy and Kali Geegenheimer, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and
cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 12 noon until 7 PM at the Legacy
Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
