Scotty Lee Dilley, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 28, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Scotty was a kind, selfless man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He found joy in caring for others and will be remembered for his generous heart, warm sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved.

His greatest love was his mother, Wanda Dilley, whom he cherished deeply. Scotty was fiercely protective of her and took great pride in making sure she was always cared for. Family meant everything to him, and his devotion to those closest to him was evident in all that he did.

Scotty had a passion for music and loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle. He was known for his meticulous nature and was a true perfectionist who believed that anything worth doing was worth doing right. His quick wit and ability to make others laugh brought happiness to family and friends alike. He also shared a special bond with his beloved Pit Bull, Sadie, who was a constant source of companionship and unconditional love.

Scotty is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Dilley; his aunts and uncles, Judy May, Linda Newkirk, and Tom Petty; and his cousin, Lindsey Merideth (Josh), along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Dilley.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial visitation on Friday, July 24, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203. A memorial service celebrating Scotty's life will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Though Scotty's time with us was far too short, his kindness, laughter, loyalty, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be treasured and never forgotten.
