Sango Rashidi

Sango Rashidi, age 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 17, 2025. Born on May 13,
1991, in Makobola Bangue, Congo, Africa, Sango was the beloved son of Rashidi Lusema and
Adela Lusema.
A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Sango brought joy and kindness to everyone he
met. He is survived by his loving wife, Misa Bertha; his cherished daughters, Regina Rashidi
Sango and Madelene Rashidi Sango; and his dear brother, Ebengela Rashidi.
Sango was a hardworking and dedicated employee at Amazon. Outside of work, his true passion
was music. A talented singer and guitarist, he filled his home and community with the sound of
his voice and strings, sharing his love for music with those around him. His spirit, creativity, and
warmth will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon,
followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon, at Buechel United Methodist Church, 2817 Hikes
Lane, Louisville, KY 40218. Burial will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks
Lane, Louisville, KY 40216.
Sango’s life was a song of love, faith, and perseverance—a melody that will continue to echo in
the hearts of all who knew him.
