Sandra Ann Samples

Sandra Ann Samples, 71, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on October 16, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky daughter of the late Michael and Gladys (Seng) Sandifer. Sandra worked for many years as a clerk in the safety store for Jeff Boat Company, where she earned the nickname “Boot Lady” and earlier in life worked in the laundry department at Methodist Hospital. She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed sewing, reading, and loved watching her shows, Days of Our Lives and The Price is Right.

In addition to her parents Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Sandifer. She is survived by her loving husband Frank Samples; daughter, Shelia Hampton; brother, Richard Sandifer and his wife Barb; sister-in-law, Mary Sandifer; grandchildren, Dylon, April Hampton, Sam Anderson; great-grandchild, Ryder Harper.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 12-4PM with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
