Sandra (Gibson) Jarmon

Sandra Jarmon, 67, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 3, 1955, to the late LeRoy and Marjorie Gibson in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Sandra loved people, and was very compassionate towards others. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, and never met a stranger. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to gather with her family, and show her love through her cooking, and always liked to try the new restaurants to find a new dish. In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed anything Betty Boop, online shopping, dancing, listening to her favorite music by Prince and Michael Jackson, and adoring elephants. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time at home enjoying a nice glass of wine while snuggling with her favorite cat of 16 years, Eli. Sandra will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Leroy and Marjorie Gibson, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jarmon; son, Eric Harris Jr.; and a sister, Glenda Short.

Left to cherish her memory, Sandra leaves behind a daughter, Shronda Marshall (Stephen); 2 granddaughters, Shakia Harris, and Dominique Harris; 2 grandsons, Eddie Clipper III, and Markell Marshall; 2 sisters, Cynthia Wheeler, and Terry Gardner (Jeff); 2 brothers, Stephen Gibson, and David Gibson; mother-in-law, Delores Harris; faithful companion, Eli; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Sandra Jarmon will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky
