Samantha Aileen Adams, 36, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. Samantha was born on August 21, 1987, to Theodore Adams and Elizabeth Byrd Ashby in New Albany, Indiana. A loving mother and doting grandmother, Samantha cherished her children and granddaughter above all else. Known for her vivacious spirit and open-minded nature, Samantha was a beacon of joy and positivity to all who knew her. She was a woman who always spoke her mind, embraced life with a happy-go-lucky attitude, and had a heart full of kindness. Samantha's outgoing personality made her the life of every gathering, and her willingness to help anyone in need defined her generous character.

Samantha's resilience was unmatched; she never let the trials of life weigh her down. She had an undeniable zest for life, balancing her role as a devoted family member with her ambition and drive, earning her the affectionate nickname "paper chaser" among friends and family. Her unique blend of charm, strength, and compassion made her truly one of a kind.

Samantha's legacy of love, joy, and unwavering support will forever be remembered by her family and friends. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift. Samantha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Samantha is preceded in death by her father, Theodore Adams; 2 sisters, Ashley Adams, and Amanda House; father-in-law, Paul Logsdon; and sister-in-law, Janet Basham.

Left to cherish her memory, Samantha is survived by her 5 children, Kelly Logsdon (Eli), Carmine Adams (Emily), Baby Sam Elliott, Geno, and Camilla; 4 siblings, Crystal Ann Perez, Angela Leffew, LeAnn, and Theodore; granddaughter, Carmella; grandmother, Elizabeth Byrd Ashby; close friend, Glenn Logsdon; and a host of extended family and close friends.
