Rudelle “Rudi” Toman, 100, of Henryville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Rudi was a retired federal employee. She had was an avid golfer, who had the privilege playing at Pebble Beach, met Sam Snead and once played a round of golf with Lee Travino. Rudi was a devout Chrisitian and was a member of Park Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana, The Plymouth Church in Framingham, MA., and Rancho Benardo Presbyterian Church in San Diego. She loved people, traveling, social events, playing slot machines and never met a stranger.
Rudi was born on February 20, 1924 in New Albany, Indiana to the late George and Molly Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Toman; son, Terry Toman; life partner, John Rohner; siblings, Lorraine Fissel, Guy Webb, Iona Ebling, Velma Kohler, Wanda Webb, and Jolene Perkins.
She is survived by 6 nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews and her family dog, Nixon.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 3-6pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
