Ruby A. Spicer

Ruby A. Spicer, age 69, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024. She was born March 31, 1955 to the late Charles and Mary McConahay.

In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Spicer; brother, Charles McConahay; her sister, Elizabeth Everidge; and her nephew, Lonnie Everidge.

She is survived by her children, Larry McConahay, Mary Spicer, and Ronald (Adonna) Spicer Jr.; 7 grandkids, 3 great-grandkids; and her brother, James McConahay.

Ruby was a resident of Charlestown, IN since 2000. She enjoyed fishing (as long as no boat was involved), spending time in her garden and reading all kinds of books.

Visitation will be at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville on Wednesday, October 2 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, with her funeral service at 2:00. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Utica.
