Ruby E. Habegger

Ruby E. Habegger, 88 , of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 4, 1933 in Burkesville, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Tom and Elizabeth (York) Moons. Ruby was a wonderful homemaker and she attended Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She enjoyed babysitting, sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard M. Capps, second husband, Gerald Habegger; brother, Otis Moons. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hamby and her husband Ron; sons, Kenny Capps and his wife Kimberly, Dennis and Wayne Capps; sisters, Jean Plumlee, Jane Collins, Wilma Abney, Elaine Blair; brother, Gale Moons; along with nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

There will be a service held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
