Rosetta "Rosie" Fay (Mollyhorn) O'Brien

Rosetta Fay O’Brien (Mollyhorn), 70, passed away, Sunday, March 12, 2023 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Rosie was born August 19, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Dewey Mollyhorn and Alice Mae (Daughterty) Mollyhorn. She was a restaurant manager for Dolly’s (on Floyd Street) and a faithful member of The Baptist Tabernacle. Rosie enjoyed going to Bingo, gardening, coloring, and bird-watching. When she would see a Cardinal bird she would often say “angels from above”. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Mollyhorn, granddaughter, Delilah Rose Flener, and brother in law, Jimmy Satterly 

Those left to cherish Rosie’s memory are her two children, Alicia Anspach (Steven) and Danny Wethington (Beth); three grandchildren, Branden Anspach (Lynn), Travis Anspach (Ashley) and Nancy Rose Flener (Matthew); five great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Viviann, Evellann, Quinn and Elliott; two sisters, Marita Satterly and Louella Tabler (Johnny); brother, Dewey “Billy” Mollyhorn (Melody); sister in law, Rose Mollyhorn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11: 00 a.m. – 6: 00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street.
