Ronald Lee Crady, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on his birthday, July 28, 2026.

Born on July 28, 1948, in Louisville, Ronald was the son of the late Darrell and Inez Crady. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Crady, and several brothers.

Ronald is lovingly remembered by his children, Ronnie Crady (Erin Barrows) and Nevada Eskridge (Edward); his grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Crady, Jr. (Mikayla Sumner), Miranda Crady (Alexander Evens), Lacey Barrows, Sharon Crady, and Christopher Smith; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Catherine, Kenny, Casey, Michael, Isaiah, and Azrael. He is also survived by his siblings, Doris, Kathleen, LaDonna, and Daryl, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Ronald was known by family and friends as a man who could fix just about anything. If something was broken, he was the one everyone called, and he always found a way to make it better. His talent for repairing and building was matched only by his generous heart and willingness to help others.

He found great joy in gardening and took special pride in growing beautiful roses and sweet strawberries. Above all, Ronald treasured time spent with his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in spoiling them every chance he had. The memories he created with them will be cherished for generations.

Ronald's life was one of quiet strength, hard work, and unconditional love for those around him. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply and in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, and dependable spirit.

In accordance with Ronald's wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
