Robert C. Pelkey

Robert C. Pelkey, 61, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on August 20, 1960, to the late Robert E. and Martha J. Pelkey, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Robert had a great personality and never met a stranger. He was very kind, and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back. Robert also loved spending time with his family and four legged companions, especially his favorite dog, Kawasaki. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to his favorite AC/DC or Kiss songs, working on model cars and airplanes, or riding and working on his motorcycle. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Martha, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Bessie Pelkey; and a sister, Terri McRae.

Left to cherish his memory, Robert leaves behind a daughter, Morgan Pelkey; 2 nieces, Melissa Scalf, and Nicole Scalf; 1 nephew, Stephen Scalf (Michelle); 1 grandson, Nathan Archer; multiple great nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Robert C. Pelkey will be held at 3 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana. A memorial gathering will take place from 12 PM to 3 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
