Robert "Bobby" Gay

Robert "Bobby" Gay, 70, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Baptist Floyd Hospital. He was born on May 12, 1952 in Millen, Georgia son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Wright) Gay. Bobby was a retired boiler maker of Local #40 and was a United States Marine. He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed gardening, loved music, liked sports and was an avid U of L fan, and watching western movies, Bobby also loved getting together with friends and making them laugh.  He loved his family very much.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Watson. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Gay; daughter, Sarah Gay; son, Aaron Gay (Amanda); siblings, Ricky Watson (Jenny), Beverly Tillman, Sandy Watson, Patricia Riggs along with 3 grandchildren; Jacob, Cameron, Jaxson.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 4-8pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. His service will be at 11am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 with more visitation before from 9-11 at Legacy Funeral Center. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
