Richard Douglas Marshall

Richard Douglas Marshall, born on July 5, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Rose Marie Clark and Tony Marshall, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Richard was a kind and social soul who enjoyed life through connection with others. He loved bike riding, spending time socializing, and simply hanging out with friends and family. Those who knew him remember his easygoing nature and the joy he found in being around people. He was truly remembered by many and loved by all.

He is survived by his half-brother, Tony Marshall; two nieces; and several close friends who became family to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose Marie Clark and Tony Marshall, and by his nephew, John Marshall.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, located at 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.

Richard’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who shared laughter, friendship, and love with him throughout his life.
