Raymond D. Glenn

Raymond D. Glenn, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born on August 6, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert E. and Iris E. Glenn.  Raymond was a 20 year retired Navy Veteran, had a larger than life personality and never met a stranger.  He loved performing at charity events for the Salvation Army and Air Devils Inn with his band.   Raymond was very family oriented and lived life to the fullest.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Star Trek, Lost in Space, The Rifleman,  Svengoolie and UK or U of L sporting events. Raymond will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Iris Glenn, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory P. Glenn.

Left to cherish his memory, Raymond leaves behind a loving wife, Jennifer Glenn; 6 children, Maria P. Sullivan (Thomas), Ariel K. Glenn, Brandi E. Weant, Kevin I.D. Glenn (Nikki), Elicia J. Glenn, and Hailee S. Glenn; 5 siblings, Michael A. Glenn (Sally), Deborah K. Glenn, Stephanie Scheibel (Gordon), Rebecca Clark (Michael), and Renie’ Glenn; 8 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Mr. Raymond Glenn will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203.  Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 4 PM, prior to the service.
