Raymond L. Crick, age 86, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025.
Born on October 12, 1938, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Raymond was the beloved son of the
late Elmer Crick and Paradine Bullock Crick.
Raymond dedicated much of his working life to the assembly line at General Electric's washing
machine division, where he took pride in his craftsmanship and work ethic. Known for his laid-
back spirit and simple pleasures, he found joy in watching classic westerns—especially his
favorite, Walker, Texas Ranger. He enjoyed relaxing in his garage, scratching off lottery tickets,
and cherishing time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Mark Crick; three brothers, O'Neal Crick,
Melvin Crick, and Eldon Crick; and his sister, Rebecca Wicklline.
Left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Crick; daughter, Sherry Crick;
stepdaughters, Paula Hall and Ann Isgrigg; stepson, Roger Jenkins; sisters, Janetta Hargett and
Faye Claypool; brother, Jerry Crick; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many
nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 3:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Legacy Scott Chapel Funeral
Home, located at 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. Cremation will follow the services.
Raymond will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the quiet strength he brought to those
who loved him.
