Phillip Ray Hochadel

Phillip Ray Hochadel Sr., 70, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on August 9, 2023, at Norton

Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on September 3, 1952, in Jeffersonville, Indiana

and is the son of the late James Reynolds “Reyn” and Gladys Belle (Russell) Hochadel. Phillip was a

woodworker for many years, a dedicated worker, and a member of Assembly of God Church in

 Hardinsburg, Indiana. He enjoyed fishing, WWE and loved telling his fishing stories. His friends and

family nicknamed him “Bill Dance”.

In addition to his parents Phillip was preceded in death by his brothers; Milton Donald “Milton”

Hochadel whose surviving spouse is “Shirley” and Charles Ronald “Ronnie” Hochadel; sister, Ida Mae

Russell. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Mirocha (Keith); children; Teresa Gabhart

(John), Kevin Wolf (Donna), Phillip Hochadel Jr. (Roberta), Billy Hochadel (Jo), Johnny Hochadel

(Christine); along with 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

There will be visitation held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10am-12pm with service to follow at

Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
