Peggy Sue ( Harvey) Campbell, age 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday December 15, 2024. Born on March 2, 1958 in Jeffersonville IN. Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late Russell (Pop) and Mildred (Mammie) Harvey.
She was a “spunky” soul who loved spending time with her family, sharing stories about loved ones, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she enriched with her kindness and storytelling. She dedicated much of her life to hard work as a factory worker and found her true calling in caregiving, where her warmth and compassion touched the lives of many. She enjoyed the game of pool and could often be found catching up with friends and family on Facebook. Her favorite time of year was the holiday season, particularly Thanksgiving and Christmas, when her home was filled with love, laughter, and gratitude.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Troy Ray Campbell; sons, Daniel Cash, Keith Cash, William Ray Vest, Zack Campbell, Curtis Wayne Campbell; daughters, Keandre Campbell, Paula Jean Campbell; along with 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; Aunt Julia (Sissy) Clark; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Frankie Cash; brother, Ferry (Herb) Harvey, Terry (Skeeter) Harvey, Donald (Donnie) Wayne Harvey, James (Jimmy/Poncho) Harvey; sister, Jeannie Norris; granddaughter, Eleanor Renee Campbell.
