Pearl McDole (Johnson), 87, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, one day before her 88th birthday. Pearl was born on September 29, 1933, in Sadler, Kentucky to the late Ulice Johnson and Essie (Oller) Baker. She lived in the Portland neighborhood all of her life. Pearl was a member of Liberty Temple Church and retired from Schoppenhorst-Neurath Funeral Home after 16 years of service. Pearl enjoyed going to church and was a sweet, loving, and giving woman.
Alongside her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. McDole; her son, John A. Whitehouse, Jr.; step-daughter, Bonnie Casto; two sisters, Frances Buckles and Norma Ruth Phillips.
Survivors include her son, Danny McDole; three daughters, Shannon Harriman, Debra Probus, and Evelyn Ray; brother, Ulus Johnson, Jr., half-brother, Johnny K. Johnson; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services are private, in the care of Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel.
