How do you summarize a life in a few words. You don't. Paula was a good person. A fighter for her family friends and animals. She loved and fought hard for those she loved. She was the avenger for anyone who needed her. If she couldn't do it herself she would send in the enforcer, her husband.
She met Buddy when they were neighbors at 12 yrs old. They became inseparable from that point in time. Actually they were born in the same hospital 4 days apart. If you ever seen the movie the Notebook that was them. Soul mates from the beginning. Friends and lovers till the end of time. He even asked her mom for permission to marry her. He was asked do you promise to take care of my daughter. His answer was yes until my last breath.
She loved photography, weightlifting, animals and going to concerts.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Charity Rose, her sisters Donna Gibson, Priscilla Stewart, and Cathy Newell.
Paula leaves behind her spouse and partner in crime Norman (Buddy) Smith. Her children, Melanie and James. Her sisters, Pamela Potter and Lynn Gibson. Her brother in law Tom (Gayle) Smith.
Her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Countless friends and adopted family too many to name but know that she loved you all dearly.
