Paul Martin Drake, age 69, of Louisville, KY, passed away on November 14, 2024. He was born on

October 27, 1955, in Taylorsville, KY, to the late Charles Harold Drake and Rose Mitchell Drake.

Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and carried his love of firearms throughout his life, with

a particular fondness for Mosin-Nagant rifles. He was an avid coin collector and shared a special bond

with his Chihuahua buddy, POGO, who was known for his big attitude.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Authur "Ben" Drake, Tom Drake, Walter Drake, and

William "Bill" Drake; sister, Lisa Drake; and aunt, Carolyn Ann Drake.

Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Drake; his son, Lance Drake; his daughters, Jessica Drake, Jennifer

Drake, Christina Drake and Paula Cain,; and his cherished grandchildren, Kirsten Drake, Kennedy Drake,

Emma Byrd, Scarlet Hutchinson, and Arlow Mardis. He also leaves behind his aunt, Sarah Francis Drake,

and sister, Sarah Sue Drake, who will miss him deeply.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Legacy Nunnelley Chapel,

4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215. Burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery in Bloomfield, KY.

Visitation will take place from 11 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Paul's family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his passions, humor, and unwavering love

for those closest to him.
