Patricia Ann (Small) Phillips

Funeral services for Patricia Ann Phillips, 86, of New Albany, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Christ Gospel Church, 2614 E. 10th Street in Jeffersonville with burial to follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Legacy Funeral Center-Scott Chapel, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the church.  She passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. 

Patricia was born on October 18, 1936 in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late Bruce Edmond Small and Joy Deloris Brown.  She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Christ Gospel Church.  Patricia loved traveling and supporting her late husband during their ministry with Christ Gospel Church.  She enjoyed coloring books and going fishing.  Patricia was a wonderful lady that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Eugene Phillips Sr.; two children, Angie Valois and Todd Phillips; a brother, Richard Small; and three granddaughters, Jacquelyn Moore, Stephanie Phillips and Emily Butcher.

Patricia is survived by her loving children, Duane “Bud” Eugene Phillips Jr. (Cheri), Jeannie Matte, Richard Phillips (Amanda), Michael Phillips (Ramona), Terry Phillips (Sheila), Rebecca Valois (David), Sarah Recalde (Patricio); three siblings, Larry “Bugsy” Small (Linda), Nancy Niksch, Cheryl Deno; forty-nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
