Patricia Ann (Bush) Matthis

Patricia Ann Matthis, 78, passed away, Saturday, October 1, 2022. 

She was born September 25, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Herman and Myrtle (Moore) Bush. Ann was a retired employee of The Pillsbury Company. She was a member of the "Mending Hearts" Group. She enjoyed going shopping, and really loved shopping for Vera Bradley everything, from purses to blankets anything Vera Bradley. Ann also enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the United States; they have visited Yellowstone Park, New York, Florida and Hawaii just to name a few. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death, by her sister and brother in law, Mae & Junior Armour; three sisters, Frances Curry, Sally and Theresa Bush; a brother, Frank Bush.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, David G. Matthis, Sr. ; two sons, Mike Coy and David G. Matthis, Jr. ; granddaughter, Sara (Coy) Karnes (Josh); two grandsons, Chase and Bryce Matthis;  two great granddaughter's, Rose and Jaelyn; two niece's, Patricia D. "Deanie" Sheldon (Randy); Tossy "Kat" Matthis (Chris); two nephews, Rex Curry (Pam) and Casey Matthis.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
