Patricia Hudspeth Obituary

Patricia Ann Hudspeth, age 73, of Louisville, KY, passed away on February 7, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1951, to the late Clifton "Bud" Lee and Irene Embry Pike Lee.

Patricia was a talented cook and served as the head chef for Levy Restaurants at Churchill Downs. She had a passion for cooking, loved playing bingo and karaoke, and cherished time with her family. Her favorite color was blue, and she was known for her deep love for her husband and children.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Freddie" Hudspeth, Jr.; her daughter, Kimberly Ann Hudspeth; and her sister, Sharon "Bimbo" McGinnis.

She is survived by her son, William "Baby Fred" Hudspeth III; her grandchildren, Justin Hudspeth (Libby), Justice Kelty (Trevor), Chelsea Embry (Zach), and Macy Hudspeth; and her great-grandchildren, Justin Junior Hudspeth, Arlo Kelty, Alivia Embry, Caylee, and Halle. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Bratcher, several nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 1 PM until 7 PM and on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 9 AM until the time of service at Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
