Nancy Lynn Hudson-Mimms

Nancy Lynn Hudson-Mimms, 63, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born on May 9, 1961, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Harry and Betty Joe Hudson.

Nancy graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1979 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She went on to build a career in public relations and real estate, working passionately to help others for many years.

A devoted wife, mother, and sister, Nancy cherished time spent with her family. A woman of strong Christian faith, she lived with kindness and purpose. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, and relaxing at the beach—her happy place.

Nancy leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years, Mark Mimms; her daughter, Katharine Hudson Gillam (Brett Gillam); her son, Mark Mimms (Hannah Walker-Mimms); and her sister, Linda Linkes (John Linkes).

Nancy was a life-long partner, companion, and best friend to Mark, and will be remembered for her love, faith, and adventurous spirit.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4-6pm with service starting at 6pm at Legacy (Scott’s) Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
