Nancy Bailes, 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Known for her love of traveling, gardening, cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats, and most importantly, spending cherished moments with her family, Nancy lived a life full of faith and love.
Nancy worked at Clark Memorial Hospital, served as a devoted homemaker, and was the beloved pastor of High Tower Tabernacle in Jeffersonville. Her warm spirit and unwavering faith were a source of strength and inspiration to many.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Anna J. McDonald (Kidwell); her brother, Michael McDonald; and her son, Larry Joe Bailes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Larry D. Bailes; her son, Joseph B. Mattingly (Dianna); her daughter, Angela D. Bagby (Steve); her grandchildren, Kaitlan Episcopo (Tyler), Bailey Saulman (Christopher), Grainger Mattingly (Rebecca), Grayson Mattingly, Chandler Money (Jade), Joanna Mattingly, and Sawyer Bagby; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, on Wednesday, January 8 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm with her funeral service at 6:00 in the chapel of the funeral home.
