Michael Lee Nuckles

Michael Lee Nuckles, 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born to the late Deborah Nuckles-Brown and Donald Nuckles Sr. on August 19, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky.  Michael was a dependable husband, father, son, brother and friend. He loved to make people laugh and was very giving, kind and outgoing. Michael never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.  He loved deer hunting and his U of L Cardinals. Michael’s biggest passion was spending time with his kids building and racing cars every weekend. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Deborah Nuckles-Brown, Michael was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Pamela Priddy.

Left to cherish his memory, Michael leaves behind his loving wife, Amanda; 2 children, Cassandra Nuckles and Kaden Nuckles; 2 siblings, Donald L. Nuckles Jr. (Stephanie) and Dawn Desiree’ “Dede” Nuckles-Walker; 3 sister-in-laws, Taylor Denney (ET), Brook Triplett, and April Guerrero (David); 4 brother-in-laws, Justin Triplett (Erica), Steven Eason (Machenize), Travis Miles, and Jerry Nix; and a host of extended family, aunts, and uncles.

A funeral service for Mr. Michael Lee Nuckles will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY 40203.  Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, August 26 and prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial at Liletown Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
