Matthew Woller

Matthew Woller, 79, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, surrounded by his family after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was born in Yugoslavia on February 7, 1944 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Woller.

Matthew was a retired express driver for PepsiCo after 39 years of service. After retirement from PepsiCo, he went to work for Bass Pro Shops as a door greeter, where he loved interacting with customers and staff. Dad was good at telling jokes, usually around the dinner table while growing up. He had a strong work ethic and took pride in always providing for his family. He enjoyed fishing and was proud to have taught his grandson, Jeremy the sport of fishing. He loved planes and airshows, especially Thunder Over Louisville. Matthew loved the simple things in life. He was a devoted husband of 57 years to his loving wife. Family time and vacations were important to Matthew, especially when his girls were growing up. He adored his grandson and enjoyed all the wonderful memories they shared together. He was a man that was present and involved for all the important moments in his family’s life. Matthew was a 50-year member of Northside Church of Christ. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is preceded in death by his siblings.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his daughters, Karen and Lisa Woller; grandson, Jeremy Woller; and his fur baby Abigail.

Visitation will be at Northside Church of Christ, 2510 E. 10th St., Jeffersonville, Thursday, March 23 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, with the service at 6:00.
