Matthew H. Humbert, 35, of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home. Neurath and Schoppenhorst Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care, and services will be held in his home state of Michigan at a later date.

Matthew was born on February 20, 1984 in Detroit, Michigan. He left Detroit for California, which led him to become an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping as well. After moving to Louisville, KY, Matthew began working for Premier Packaging, and held a position there as a Machine Operator at the time of his passing.

Preceded Matthew in death is his father, Christopher Humbert; and grandparents, Mary and Willie Grimsley.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Debra Holloway; siblings, Daniel Humbert and his wife, Desiree, Thomas Grimsley, Jamie Grimsley, Leah Humbert, and Cookie Holloway; and special nieces and nephews, Daniel Humbert, Jr., DeKota Humbert, DeAyre Humbert, and DeKari Humbert.
