Obituary
Mary "Denise" Wilder, 67, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday August 17, 2023 at her home. Denise was born July 3, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to John McDermott and Mary (Murray) McDermott. Denise was a graduate of Atherton High School and was a loving homemaker and caregiver to her family. Denise enjoyed the outdoors. She loved gardening, music, and taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Karen & Peggy, and Brother Kevin.
Denise is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Wayne Wilder, sons Phillip Wilder, Kevin Wilder (Shelby), and daughter Melissa Bowman; sister Toni Schwartzel, and brothers Marty and Mark McDermott; along with 9 grandchildren and one on the way. In lieu of any flowers or gifts to the family, Denise would rather each of us be thankful for all we have and appreciate everyone that loves us.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Thursday August 24th, 2023 from 4-8pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
