Mary Catherine Reynolds

Mary Catherine Reynolds Age 74, of Louisville, KY, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born on March 28, 1950, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Helen Reynolds and Bernie Reynolds.

Mary had a zest for life and enjoyed simple pleasures such as playing bingo (where she was known as the "Queen of Bingo"), bunko, crossword puzzles, and helping others. She had a big heart and never met a stranger. She was a true homebody, finding comfort in her favorite recliner. Her favorite colors were turquoise, baby blue, light pink, and teal, which she wore with pride.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Reynolds; brothers, William "Billy" Reynolds, her sister, June Blair, and the father of her children, Richard Garlan Durham.

Mary is survived by her children, Nicole Ann Reynolds and Patricia Reynolds; sisters Joyce Hatfield (Jr.) and Wanda Clark (Bobby); her brother, Gene Reynolds; and her grandchildren, Michael Woodson, Dezman Reynolds, Anthony Mack, Sr., La’Shaun Mack, Destiny Scrogham, and Samantha Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Legacy Nunnelly Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation will follow.

Mary will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
