Mary Frances Basil

Mary Frances Basil went home to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

She was born and raised in Glasgow, KY on November 17, 1934. She is survived by her granddaughter, two grandsons, and her only great grandchild, she lovingly named, "Bear Bear."

Mary greatly enjoyed watching Westerns and square dancing. She was a proud Kentucky Colonial.

A Visitation will take place at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, Kentucky 40215, on Friday, April 25 from 10:30 AM until 12 Noon with a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 12 Noon that same day and entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Donations in her honor to Dementia Foundation or Military Missions in honor of her three uncles who served our country during WWII.
