Marvin Frank Ridenour, age 93, of Borden, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 12, 2025.
Marvin was born on October 9, 1931, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Alvin and Martha Ridenour. He was Baptist by faith and served as a deacon at Lebanon Junction Baptist Church. He lived a life grounded in kindness, integrity, and service to others. Marvin had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending quiet moments working in his yard. He was also a talented chess player who relished the challenge of the game and the joy of teaching others to play.
Above all, Marvin was a devoted family man. Along with his wife of 70 years, Anna, he spent time with loved ones and created a home filled with laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love.
