Marvin E. Ralph, age 50, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 3:46 a.m.
at Norton’s Hospital.
Marvin was born on September 27, 1974, to the late Carroll Ralph and Barbara Blackburn. He
was a dedicated truck driver who found great enjoyment in working on cars—especially classic
Chevy trucks from the late 1960s through the 1970s. In his spare time, Marvin also liked
working around the house, always fixing what he could and taking pride in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Joseph Westmorland, and several
close friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Doerr; his son, Joshua Ralph (Skylyn); and two
cherished granddaughters, Athena Ann and Heaven Gail. Marvin also leaves behind his mother-
in-law Paula Westmorland; brother-in-law Martin Doerr; sisters-in-laws, Samantha (Cinnamon),
Stephanie (Jeremy) and Amy; and nieces and nephews Jerry Daley, Jaden and Jalynn Hogue,
Joey and Jace Westwood, Baylei Powell, and Journey Stone.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at
Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY 40203. The
funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m., with cremation to follow.
Marvin will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for classic cars, and his quiet
strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
