Margaret "Peggy" Weisenberger

Margaret “Peggy” Weisenberger, age 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital.

Peggy was born on March 18, 1950, in Lafayette, Indiana, the beloved daughter of John and Donna Weisenberger. She was a 1969 graduate of Jeffersonville High School and spent many dedicated years working at Rite Aid, where she was known as a valued and dependable employee.

Peggy had a kind and gentle spirit. She loved the simple joys of life—sitting on her porch watching the world go by, working on crossword puzzles, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her warmth, quiet humor, and caring nature touched all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her brother-in-law, Garnett Montgomery; cousins, Tamara Wisler, Carol Windler, Dan Wiesenberger Larry Gick, Deb Livengood Karen Hogue and Joan and Chuck Scherer good friends, Don & Tina Hargett and Bonnie & Bryan Brost along with Teresa and Rick Ragland; cousin, Jo Ann.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 10-1pm with service to follow at 1pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St., Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
