Lynda Gayle Ramsden

Lynda Gayle Ramsden, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022. 

Like many, Lynda could be stubborn at times but what she’ll be remembered for the most is that she was a very loving, compassionate, friendly, humble, and caring person who had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. She was a great friend to many and had an abundance of love for animals, especially for her cats. Lynda made people happy with her generosity of making Afghans for families, friends, and donated some to hospital for newborn babies.

Lynda is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Ramsden; daughter, Debra Ann Ramsden; parents, OK Hall and Jane Scott; stepfather, John Scott; brother, Allen Scott; son in-law, Gary Archer; half-sister, Olivia Kay Hall/Halla; aunt, Ann Jobora; and distant cousin, Patsy Cline.

Lynda is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Phillip) Deplata; grandson, Jacques Lajoie; granddaughters, Krista Darr Lajoie, Kimberly Ramsden and Tiffany Franco; grandson, Christopher Ramsden; great grandsons, Jesse, Leland and Tristan Lajoie; sister-in-law, Phyllis Ramsden; brother-in-law, David Ramsden; sister-in-law, Penny Scott; aunt, Beverly Waguespack; niece, Crystal Halla Cutrell; stepchildren, Susan, John and David Ramsden; numerous of cousins, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren; all her friends from high and low places, all her co-workers at the Walgreens at 2811 Holmans Lane and her senior groups.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Center- Scott Chapel, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN. The funeral service will be at 4:00 in the chapel.
