Louise S. (Stearman) Johnson

Louise S. Johnson, 80, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on May 25, 1940 to the late James "Milton" Stearman and Alice Stearman Jordan. Louise was a very sentimental but straight forward person. She was sweet and good hearted with a passion for taking care of others. Louise was a go-getter who loved completing search and find puzzles and watching Soap Operas. She was a big animal lover. She enjoyed taking care of her Chow’s and riding horses, especially Smoky Joe.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Johnson; and 3 children, John McBride Jr, Alton E. McBride, and Mary A. Stufflebean.

Left to cherish her memory, Louise leaves behind 2 children, Janice L. McBride and James C. McBride; brother, Freddy Harmon (Jo Ann); grandchildren, Jennifer Skeens, Chris Stufflebean, Thomas Sanders, Samantha McBride and many others; numerous great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Mrs. Louise S. Johnson will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1 PM at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203. Visitation will begin at 10 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
