Louis William Adcock, Jr.

Louis William Adcock, Jr., age 67, of Louisville, passed away on March 21, 2025. He was born on April 8, 1957, to the late Louis William Adcock, Sr. and Charlotte Mae Raisor Adcock.

Louis worked as a roofer and took great pride in his work. He found joy in spending time with his family, watching and playing basketball, and enjoying many other sports. He also had a special love for visiting Churchill Downs and taking leisurely rides around the city, enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, his ex-wife Rose Bickett Adcock, his sister Melissa Caudill, and his nephew Timothy "Rusty" Adcock.

He is survived by his daughter, Chasity Starr Adcock, and his beloved grandchildren, Morgan Wells, Emma Young, Chance Young, and Lance Young. Louis is also survived by his brothers Rocky Adcock, Charlie Adcock, Timmy Adcock, and Jeff Adcock, as well as his nephews Cody Lee, Danny Lee, Trevor Lee, Tony Allen, and Charles, Jr., and nieces Charlotte Lee, Jennifer Enteman, Tonya Rickert, Brooke Adcock, Timberly Adcock, and Tabitha French, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Legacy Nunnelley Chapel Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY 40215. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Louis will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love of family, and the joy he found in life’s simple moments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
